Kalila Homann, MA, LPC-S, BC-DMT is a dance/movement therapist and licensed professional counselor and supervisor in private practice in Austin, Texas. She now works as an affiliate faculty member for Antioch University New England. Ms. Homann has taught and supervised at the graduate and postgraduate level in dance therapy and expressive arts therapy for over 20 years. Ms. Homann has developed numerous courses and training programs, and directs the Embodied Neurobiology Alternate Route Dance/Movement Therapy Training Program. Her thirty years of professional experience have also included program development in expressive arts therapy for inpatient and outpatient psychiatric treatment facilities, community mental health and public school programs. Kalila has a lifelong interest in engaging the body through the use of dance/movement therapy to help the mind heal, learn, and grow.
